A stack of profiles rewards a quick look, not a conversation. Swiping turns people into pictures. Fated takes the stack away. Matching is automatic, and you get one person at a time, so all your attention goes to the person in front of you.

How Fated works

  1. 1. Get matched, not swiped

    You are paired with one person, based on background, language and what you want. Nobody browses you and you browse nobody.

  2. 2. Talk to reveal

    Their photo starts blurred and comes into focus as you talk. Job and age are shared only when you both say yes.

  3. 3. Eight threads, one Fated

    Each thread is a timed conversation. Every match brings you closer to your Fated, the person you meet after eight threads.

Fated is free to join and free to use during the beta. If we ever add paid features, we will show you the price up front, so you always know before you pay.

For everyone, 18 and older

Fated is for adults of every background. It takes your heritage, the languages you speak and what you want into account, so the people you meet are people you can really talk to.

Private and safe by design

Because matching is automatic, nobody can browse you. Your photo, job and age are earned by talking, not handed out. You can report anyone in two taps, reports are private, and everyone signs the same pledge: 18+, no fetishizing, respect a no, never ask for money.
